Letting Go

Letting go can be a powerful experience.  Sometimes we need to let go of an unhealthy relationship.  Sometimes it’s a relationship that we cherish that we are forced to let go.  And it’s important to note that sometimes we need to let go of a job.  It’s easy to hold on to a job that’s not a right fit for us, because it represents income.  In a state of fear, we will hang on and hang on and hang on to a job until they literally make that separation decision for us.

It’s okay to admit that your job is not the right one when you come to that realization.  It’s okay to move on after you’ve either outgrown your job or realized that it’s not a good fit for you.
Make smart choices.  If you’ve come to this realization, make sure you are prepared to make this change.  If you have sufficient savings to survive, you *may* be able to leave without securing a new position.  Most people are not in this position, so, if you are like most people, make wise choices about when and how you leave.
What, in your life, have you had to let go?  What do you need to let go today?
